Geschichte
Die Moth-ki-Masjid wurde 1662 erbaut. Heute ist es ein wenig vergessen und inmitten der unerlaubten Bauarbeiten in Delhi untergegangen.
Architektur
Die Moschee steht auf einem hohen Sockel und hat einen quadratischen Grundriss. Das Hauptmaterial ist Sandstein.

Der Eintritt zur Moschee ist frei. Da diese Moschee keine beliebte Touristenattraktion ist, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie im Voraus einen Führer, einen Reiseführer oder eine Audiobegleitung haben.
Mythen und Legenden
Einer anderen Legende zufolge kniete der Sultan nieder, der zum Beten kam. Direkt vor ihm ließ der Vogel ein Linsenkorn fallen. Von außen sah es so aus, als würde der Herrscher selbst den Samen verehren. Dann sagte der Wesir, dass nach solchen Ehrungen die Linsensamen endgültig getrocknet, in die Erde gepflanzt und mehrere Ernten eingebracht werden müssten.
Anreise
Die Moschee liegt im Zentrum von Delhi. Sie können mit dem Taxi oder der Rikscha dorthin gelangen.
