Geschichte
Der Sahelion-ki-Bari-Garten wurde im 18. Jahrhundert für die Frau von Maharana Sangram Singh II. und ihr Gefolge angelegt. Tatsächlich gingen sie als Mitgift an die Braut. Derzeit gibt es hier einen Stadtpark.
Architektur
Der Ort ist übersät mit Rasenflächen und Springbrunnen in Form von Tieren und Vögeln. Es gibt mehrere Lotusteiche. Im Garten gibt es viele Marmorpavillons. Auf dem Territorium des Parks gibt es ein Museum, das Haushaltsgegenstände, Schmuck und Outfits der königlichen Familie beherbergt. Es gibt auch einen Souvenirladen. Während des Monsuns ist der Lotusteich besonders schön. Springbrunnen funktionieren selten.
Teilnahmebedingungen
Der Garten ist täglich von 9 bis 19:30 Uhr geöffnet.
Ausflüge
Der Eintritt kostet etwa 5 Rupien. Direkt im Garten können Sie sich mit einem englischsprachigen Guide treffen und einen Preis aushandeln.
Mythen und Legenden
Der Legende nach kann eine in diesem Garten gekaufte Elefantenstatue zu Ihrem Amulett werden und Glück bringen.
Anreise
Der Garten befindet sich in Udaipur. Sie können von Delhi oder Mumbai aus mit dem Flugzeug dorthin gelangen. Dienstags und donnerstags verkehren Züge ab Mumbai.
